08 May Assemblymember Mark González Visits Kheir Vermont Adult Day Health Care Center to Celebrate Mother’s Day with Koreatown Seniors
(LOS ANGELES, CA, May 8, 2026) California Assemblymember Mark González (AD-54) visited Kheir Vermont
Adult Day Health Care Center in Koreatown on May 8, presenting flowers to each of the 120 seniors in attendance
ahead of Mother’s Day.
The center is one of two Adult Day Health Care locations operated by Kheir Clinic (led by CEO Erin Pak), a
Federally Qualified Health Center serving the Koreatown and greater Los Angeles area. González, who
represents the Koreatown area as the Assemblymember for California’s 54th District, joined seniors and staff for a
morning of celebration that included food, activities, and gifts.
“It is my honor to represent this community in Sacramento and to celebrate with you in Koreatown, home of the
largest Korean population outside of Korea. Happy Mother’s Day to every mother, grandmother, and caregiver here
today,” said Assemblymember Mark González (AD-54).
“It meant the world to our seniors to be celebrated by Assemblymember González today. We are grateful for his
continued support of the Koreatown community,” said Derrick Yoon, ADHC Administrator at Kheir Clinic.
